About the tour
Inverdoorn Game Reserve is a 10 000 ha park situated in the Ceres-Karoo region, a scenic 1 hours flight from Cape Town that offers you a unique experience in the Klein Karoo. You are in big sky country out here, stunning, stunning night-scapes with some of the clearest night skies you’ll ever see, settled between the Swartberg mountain Range and the Outeniqua Range, its the gateway to the Great Karoo. A semi-desert climate with a huge range of indigenous plant and animals species. The game reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife, including zebras, hippos, giraffes, cheetahs, various antelope and bird species, and the Big 5.

Situated on-site is a renowned cheetah rescue and rehabilitation centre, Western Cape Cheetah Conservation. The centre offers exclusive encounters with this magnificent big cat and overnights guests at Inverdoorn have the privilege of seeing them reach speeds of up to 120km/h on their daily runs after the sunset safari. During game drives, you will experience a spectacular sunset from the look-out point whilst sipping on a sundowner. Accommodation at Inverdoorn Game Reserve includes: Luxurious accommodation : - 2 chic guest houses to accommodate the family or a group of friends - 7 four-star bungalows. Each bungalow is specifically designed to offer you the very highest levels of comfort. - 4 luxury chalets with roof terraces boasting incredible views and the ultimate opulence of the Ambassador Suite which also offers a private game drive. Our chalets are fully equipped with air conditioning, fireplace, honesty bar, safe and wireless Internet connection. Where we will meet
The iconic V&A Waterfront that lies at the heart of Cape Town’s history where the city meets the sea. Here you will join Cape Town Helicopters for your magical experience. Located on 220 East Pier Road, Breakwaters Edge, V&A Helipad, V&A Waterfront, 8001.
Keep these in mind
Check In Time
Please check in 20-30 minutes prior to your scheduled Take Off time. This will allow enough time for us to take weights, conduct a safety briefing and issue tickets. After this has been conducted you can relax on the viewing deck and take some great pre-flight pictures and enjoy the atmosphere.
Seating
Please be aware that seating allocation on all our sharing flights are done according to weight and balance which is done during your safety briefing and ticketing. Should you want to choose your own seats you can book an Exclusive Flight at the cost of one additional seat and you are guaranteed the ‘best seats in the house.
Best Pictures
For the best pictures we recommend that you wear darker coloured clothing as whites reflect off the inside of the windows and can spoil that epic shot. We do offer In Flight Video packages where we record you and your flight, including audio, and put it on a USB for you. Note that not all aircraft has this system available so please requests this on check in.
Weather
All flights are weather dependent. Should the conditions not be ideal for flying we will try to reschedule to the next best available flight window. Note that the temperature in the sky is exactly the same as on the ground in case you are wondering what to wear.
