Let’s set the scene
It’s an exquisite day in Cape Town, perfect for flying and exploring. So you decide to hop onto your own private Helicopter that flies you all the way from the V&A Waterfront to the picturesque sea-side development of Romansbaai. While in flight you’re surrounded by the Indian Ocean below you, the blue Cape Town Sky above you, majestic mountain ranges and the beautiful Western Cape scenery all around you. And you have the very best seat in the house. Once you land in Romansbaai you’re introduced to your hosts, Tabby and her partner Alex, who own the charming Graze Slow Food Cafe.

What you eat
They lead you to your traditional South African long table waiting for you right there on the Romansbaai beach. You better be hungry, because they have something pretty spectacular in store for you – a SENSATIONAL coastal, seafood forage. After you’ve sufficiently enjoyed your meal and indulged in a lovely glass of local LoMond wine you get the opportunity to explore the beautiful Romansbaai, a true hidden gem of the Western Cape. A truly unique and authentic Cape Town experience awaits you that you certainly won’t find anywhere else in the world. Many who have been there can’t wait to return again, if only for another plate full of that incredible Seafood Forage. So hop on board your private Helicopter and let’s go.

Where we will meet
The iconic V&A Waterfront that lies at the heart of Cape Town’s history where the city meets the sea. Here you will join Cape Town Helicopters for your magical experience. Located on 220 East Pier Road, Breakwaters Edge, V&A Helipad, V&A Waterfront, 8001.

Check In Time
Please check in 20-30 minutes prior to your scheduled Take Off time. This will allow enough time for us to take weights, conduct a safety briefing and issue tickets. After this has been conducted you can relax on the viewing deck and take some great pre-flight pictures and enjoy the atmosphere.

Seating
Please be aware that seating allocation on all our sharing flights are done according to weight and balance which is done during your safety briefing and ticketing. Should you want to choose your own seats you can book an Exclusive Flight at the cost of one additional seat and you are guaranteed the ‘best seats in the house.

Best Pictures
For the best pictures we recommend that you wear darker coloured clothing as whites reflect off the inside of the windows and can spoil that epic shot. We do offer In Flight Video packages where we record you and your flight, including audio, and put it on a USB for you. Note that not all aircraft has this system available so please requests this on check in.

Weather
All flights are weather dependent. Should the conditions not be ideal for flying we will try to reschedule to the next best available flight window. Note that the temperature in the sky is exactly the same as on the ground in case you are wondering what to wear.
