Sunset Boat Cruise Waterfront Cape Town (Cxt)

Nothing is better than being on a luxury boat cruise as the sun sets across the ocean in one of the most beautiful cities in the world - Cape Town! Sunset at sea is a unique experience and something everyone should do.

The activity takes place from the world famous V&A Waterfront which holds bragging rights as being one of Africa's most visited destinations and attracts 24 million people every year. Its setting, in the oldest working harbour in the southern hemisphere, is simply spectacular: it has the iconic Table Mountain as a dramatic backdrop as well as extensive views of the ocean, city bowl and the mountain peaks of the Hottentots-Holland Mountains.

We offer daily sunset champagne cruises from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town (weather dependent) which will have you sipping sparkling wine on a sunset sea cruise which is extremely romantic and the sound of the ocean lapping the hull of the vessel extremely relaxing.

Information

Sunset at sea cruise is a unique experience and something everyone should do and the Western Cape offers the best as the sun sets over the ocean and can be enjoyed to the last seconds before it slips below the horizon. Sipping sparkling wine on a sunset sea cruise is extremely romantic and the sound of the ocean lapping the hull of the vessel extremely relaxing.

Approximate Itinerary:

Upon your arrival at the V&A Waterfront, you will be greeted by the passionate and experienced crew as you make your way onto the cruise boat, you will then be given a safety briefing and receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine (a cash bar is available onboard for beers and soft drinks) while you sit back and enjoy the scenic cruise along the picturesque harbour, the cruise duration is about 1.5 hours long and offers the best views, and often you are able to view marine life. You will then return back to the harbour after the cruise.

The vessels are ideal for sailing in Table Bay and the surrounding coastline, and for taking in the stunning mountain views from the vantage point of the ocean.

Child policy:

Children from the age of 5 are welcome on tour - with a parent present

For safety reasons, we also carry a number of children life jackets in addition to the adult life jackets. If you have questions when boarding please consult a crew member.

We do not have life jackets for toddlers as they generally cannot be fitted. Toddlers are therefore the responsibility of an accompanying adult, and for safety reasons must stay under their control at all times aboard the vessel.
