Whale Watching (Cxt)
Join in an incredible experience of whale watching in Cape Town to see the Southern Right Whales which are the main species of whales visiting the shores of Hermanus.
They sometimes breach clear of the water or beat the surface with their tails and bulls may grow incredibly up to 17 metres long and weigh nearly 50 tonnes - this activity gives you the ability to get up close and personal with these majestic creatures.
Information:
Our permit entitles us to approach the whales up to 50m and then we stop to observe. Being naturally curious, the whales normally approach the boat to observe us! This is an inspirational experience to be treasured.
Our Whale Specialist guide will interpret the marine life encountered en route and provide insight into the behaviour of the whales while you are watching them in action. Our interpreter guide keeps our European guests informed throughout the tour and our videographer will ensure that the best footage is captured.
Approximate itinerary
